Guadalupe Ortega (they/them) is a Feminist Studies M.A./Ph.D. student at the University of California, Santa Barbara where they study lesbian kinship, community memory, and queer homemaking. Their work is influenced by Chicana lesbian feminism, queer of color critique, and critical archival studies. Their research interests are lesbian of color communities, lesbian aging, queer kinship, community memory, alternative archives, 1970s queer print culture, brownness, nonbinary lesbian identity, and raciolinguistic identity formation
