Mission:
The Campus Oral History Caucus provides space for individuals involved in campus oral history initiatives to meet, network, and learn from each other.
History:
This group unofficially started in summer/fall 2025 with initial, informal discussions between Troy Reeves & other oral history leaders at various US campuses. After the 2025 OHA Annual Meeting, Reeves secured buy-in from over a dozen campus oral historians. He then submitted that roster & group’s initial mission statement to the OHA’s Executive Office, and OHA Council voted to add it to its roster of caucuses at its December 2025 meeting.
