I have 35 years of experience producing, shooting, editing, and distributing documentaries which focus on a variety of topics, including the arts, the environment, immigration, and multicultural issues. I am an experienced interviewer. In my documentaries, I incorporate personal stories that bring to life people's experiences and perspectives and preserve important moments in history that inform and enlighten viewers. I have extensive experience researching the collections of the Library of Congress, the National Archives, the Smithsonian Institution, and many more museum, university, and library collections. I also ascertain the copyright status of archival materials, obtain the required permissions, and negotiate licensing fees.
