Charlton Oral History Research Grant: Call for Proposals

Deadline: March 15, 2024

The Institute for Oral History at Baylor University is now accepting applications and proposals for the Charlton Oral History Research Grant. This grant, named after BUIOH founder and oral historian Tom Charlton, provides support of up to $3,000 for individual scholars using oral history as a part of their research. The Institute will partner with the selected scholar to address new questions and offer fresh perspectives on a subject area in which oral history may not have been extensively applied.

For more information, please visit www.baylor.edu/oralhistory and select the “Grants” icon (where you can also view the final reports and proposals from previous grant recipients) or email us at buioh@baylor.edu.

The deadline for applications is March 15, 2024.
