I have written several books on marginalized peoples included immigrants, the formerly homeless, the Hmong and Romanies published by Michigan State University Press. Jacky Comforty coauthored a book with me The Stolen Narrative of the Bulgarian Jews and the Holocaust. Currently I am working on a project painting the oral histories of Bulgarian Jews who survived the Holocaust.
