Marcia Gallo

SOHA / UNLV
My research and scholarship provides accessible examinations of post-World War II social movements via incorporating oral histories and personal interviews with archival sources. My current work focuses on lesbians whose involvements in political arenas such as peace/anti-war, anti-racism, civil rights, civil liberties, and international human rights shaped their leadership in 1970s-90s LGBTQ++ activist social movements.
