With 25 years of experience, I have worked on large scale oral history projects of former U.S. Senators Ed Muskie and George Mitchell as well as smaller community projects documenting the lives and work of mill workers, brick makers and shoe workers. More recently, my work in South Carolina reaches into communities to support women's history, African American history and military veterans. My work has been recognized with 4 Elizabeth B. Mason awards and the Program Innovation Award from the South Carolina Archival Association.

Experience

I have a B.A. in History and a M.L.I.S. in Library Science. I have 25 years of experience as an oral historian, garnering 4 national awards. In my current position, I manage a collection of over 3,000 recordings, actively grow the collections through interviewing, and preserve the collections through archival practice (description, cataloging, digital migration, online access).
