sarah Milligan

Sarah Milligan is a Professor and Head of the Oklahoma Oral History Research Program (OOHRP) at the Oklahoma State University Library, where she holds the Hyle Family Endowed Professorship and oversees the production, access, and preservation of the 2,000+ interviews in the OOHRP collection. Since completing a M.A. in Folk Studies from Western Kentucky University, she has worked extensively in community documentation and oral history outreach, including working as a folklife specialist for the Kentucky Folklife Program and providing training for new interview production as well as technical assistance to oral history collection holders throughout the country.
