Experience
For more than 40 years, I have been conducting oral history projects and for twenty years I taught oral history at Rutgers University-Newark. My own work in oral history has formed part of the research base for my books and articles, but I also edited one book of oral histories ("Transit Talk: New York's Bus and Subway Workers Tell Their Stories") and am now editing a documentary history of the COVID-19 pandemic in New York City that will include excerpts from many oral history interviews.
