Discover the surprising connections between oral history and Dungeons & Dragons in this unique hybrid event. Begin with a short roundtable discussion open to all attendees exploring how storytelling, active listening, collaboration, and asking thoughtful questions are central to both oral history and tabletop role-playing games. Then, participants who register for the game session can join one of three beginner-friendly D&D one-shot adventures led by Associate Director Steven Sielaff and fellow D&D veterans Priscilla Martinez and Daniel Horowitz Garcia. No prior D&D experience is required. Game session registration is limited to 18 participants ($20), and includes a set of dice, character materials, and a brief introduction to the game before play begins.
