About the Museum’s Collections
The Arab American National Museum, the only institution of its kind in the United States, documents, preserves and presents the history, culture and contributions of Arab Americans. As part of that mission, AANM holds one of the largest Arab American archival collections in the nation. Housed inside the museum, the Russell J. Ebeid Library and Resource Center holds an ever-growing collection of over 4,000 books by and about Arab Americans. Within the Library, researchers may access the Community History Room, a dedicated computer station with access to FamilySearch software for conducting genealogical research as well as recording equipment for conducting oral histories. Additionally, the Museum’s Collection is comprised of more than 8,000 objects and photographs, and over 225 linear feet of archival materials, including several special collections.
