Check out the Community History Room at the Arab American National Museum

A modern library room with bookshelves, tables, and chairs sits beneath a curved ceiling. Large windows let in natural light and offer a view of buildings outside. The floor is carpeted in blue.

The Community History Room (CHR), located in the Russell J. Ebeid library at the Arab American National Museum, is an opportunity for Arab American community members to deep-dive into, and preserve their history. Community members can use CHR to view historical documents to build family trees, scan their own family documents and photos, and record oral histories to create a comprehensive record of their personal stories, or the stories of loved ones. CHR connects Arab Americans directly to their culture and provides an opportunity to preserve the unique stories of each Arab American who uses the room.  See link below for more details.
