As we approach the annual meeting, the incoming president is preparing to make appointments to the Association’s standing committees. In an effort to ensure we are casting the widest net possible for potential committee members, this year the Committee Task Force is asking members to let us know if they might be interested in serving on one of the Association’s standing committees. Committee service is a great way to get more involved in the Association and to network with colleagues with similar interests.
Additionally, the Association is planning to review and update its Principles and Best Practices. If you are willing to serve on a committee or this task force, please select your areas of interest at VOLUNTEER. By indicating your interest, we can’t guarantee you’ll serve on a respective committee or task force, but knowing your interest will help to ensure that these groups are composed of engaged people from across the Association’s membership.
